Full/Partial Exemptions: All exemption requests are treated on their own merits.

Prior Learning & Current Practice Recognition (PLCPR): Applicants, with verifiable proofs, who have been previously trained by other bodies or have occupied/are occupying positions where they are/have been exposed to similar practices, and recognized as such by The Institute, shall apply and be accordingly evaluated, on their merits, for eligibility of direct membership conferment. A minimum of 5-10 years cognate experience is required in this regard. Applicants shall be prequalified on either:

-presentation of academic certificate previously obtained from a recognized and approved tertiary institution; or

-through the recommendation letter of a senior member of The Institute, attesting to the practical competence of the applicant.
